Unearthed

Truth comes in different forms. For me sometimes it comes in the form of a vision. I remember my first vision and I don’t completely understand why I was seeing it when I did, but now I know that it was for the days ahead of me. I was standing in a field and it began to rain. It wasn’t raining water, it was raining what appeared to be kernels of wheat. I thought it was a strange thing to be coming out of the sky. I held out my hands to retrieve as much of the substance as I could and it didn’t take long for my hands to fill up. I looked around me and the ground was covered and filling with this unusual element. I was alone in the field, so I wasn’t able to share it with anyone but I had the distinct impression that I was supposed to give this wealth to others. I let all that was in my hands fall to the ground so that I could open up one of the grains to see what it possessed. When I broke it open I could see a whole harvest field full of truth. I was overwhelmed by how one small kernel could hold so much information. I was very aware that when this tiny seed was planted that it would produce a hundred fold return. As I looked around, I couldn’t imagine how all of it could be planted and harvested. Then I remember thinking about the scripture that said “if all the books that could be written about the Lord would be written, that the world could not hold them all.”(John 21:25). Then with that information, I was able at some small level to begin to put it all into perspective, and it didn’t hurt to know that "with God all things are possible." (Matt. 19:26).
