To be a professional writer is a talent. To be an inspired one is a blessing. **** So when it's that time for composing that rhyme then soon your mind will discover That all those things your mindsong sings the pen in hand will uncover **** I am snatched by the wind and whisked away. I an floating wistfully and wondering where the shifting, swirling breezes are carrying me. I an a dandelion seed. I am released from my mother, and I am free. I am free save for the whims of the breezes that direct me. I am dormant until I gain sustenance in the soil and grow tall and fair. Never to soar again, I await that pleasure for the seeds that I now bear. *****

About the Book
We all have gone on family automobile trips to some much anticipated destination. But it is the child who expresses the thrill of what is to come when he pleads incessantly and cries desperately, "Are we there yet!?" I feel like that enthusiastic child as I travel through my lifetime journey ever searching for the answers to life. I have experienced the time of my life; yet the mystery lingers and slips through my groping fingers. My poetic endeavors reflect that feeling and my mind cries back to me; "Keep exploring, for you will get there!" Join me in the search. I think you will enjoy the trip! I'm going from here to there ...from now to then. Moving on; but never back again. Moving on - to the other side of the great somewhere.
About the Author
James Harter is a published poet and has written over nine hundred poems. A graduate of Penn State, James is a registered Architect and an inventer, and has received many architectural awards. He has been and still is very active in many community affairs. Originally from Pennsylvania; he and his wife, Shirley, have lived in Florida for the past ten years.
