A BETTER DAY TOMORROW
When troubles creep upon you,
And your world seems dark and gray,
When that sun don’t shine for hours,
‘Cause the clouds get in the way,
When the work is pressing heavy,
That’s the time to say -
There is a better day tomorrow!
No matter of the darkness,
There is always some where light,
For with no moon a shinin’,
Sure the stars do twinkle bright,
And knowing that tomorrow,
May bring the sun in sight -
There is a better day tomorrow!
So when you feel that nothing
Is going right at all,
Your hopes and dreams are shattered,
Your back against the wall,
Think of the one you’ve helped to-day,
Your deed has not been small -
You’ve made a better day tomorrow!

About the Book
Say You’ll Stay presents an inspiring collection of poetry written by author and experienced poet Glenn. The collection covers a variety of topics, from love to nature to the ravages of war. She Made Room for MeShe made room for me in her deepest heart,
And it larger grows as each day does pass.
She made room for me, of her life a part.
What a future I have with my fair lass.
She made room for me, soon our life is one,
For we wed shall be, sure, ’tis plain to see.
She made room for me, and our world’s begun.
All of this because—she made room for me!
About the Author
Glenn is a Canadian who has written poetry since the eighth grade. Now a widower, he had the honour of marrying two of the finest women on earth. Before settling on railroading as a lifelong career, he had many different occupations. He currently lives in Ontario, Canada.
