As a result, the “Truth” that God the Father wanted us to know has now become diluted to a nominal Christianity at best. I really cannot fault any one person or denomination; the difficulty lies in leaving it to the professionals. Perhaps that’s the reason for all the confusion regarding Christianity. One pastor said this, another says that. One church promotes this, another promotes that. Simply put, we have misplaced the things that really matter to Christ. So my question is, “Have we lost the ‘Truth’?” No, it’s not lost, just misplaced. This is the reason for this book titled …. WHAT THE CHURCH FORGOT TO REMEMBER MISPLACED PRIORITIES Countless numbers of young people are searching for who Jesus is. They need to be attracted to ministries that are progressive and thinking out of the box. In the past, the churches that sought to be more legalistic than not saw the results of rebellion. I cannot count the parents of children who were little Sunday School Saints, who turned out to be Angry Agnostics who want nothing to do with church life. Much of the anger stems from the hypocrisy that these children saw as they grew up in church. Our only hope to convincing those who are departed is to show them the truth about Christianity and provide them with hope, and not hypocrisy.

Christianity has gone from orthodoxy to evangelical crusades, from great demonstrations of miracles to signs and wonders, and to the promoting of prosperity in the body of Christ. The ideals of honesty and fundamental truths have been replaced by what we think and feel. The truth has been reduced to whether or not it is relevant in our society. The mindset is if it feels right, do it, even if it is wrong. Moral stability has been replaced by anything goes. We have misplaced things important to Christ.

About the Author
Peter Triolo Jr. having served in the pastorate for over 20 years is currently a Pastor of LifeGate Church in DeLand, Florida. Upon completing his studies at Spurgeon Baptist Bible College, he entered the ministry with his wife, Rosalma in 1989. They have two children and five grandchildren. Peter’s heart is settled on teaching the Word of God with passion and expectancy.
