About the Author

Born and raised in the Midwest, Philip W. Kunz Sr. has enjoyed a multi-faceted and exciting life. His basketball and baseball athletic abilities took him to Kilgore College in Kilgore, Texas and Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, Illinois. Shortly thereafter, he survived nearly 30 years as an Illinois State Trooper. These life-happenings help him write many of his books’ episodes.
