Following the mysterious disappearance of two researchers in Greenland, Dr. Linda Ann Kipling—a meteorologist with the Naval Research Laboratory in Monterey, California—makes an appalling discovery: not all observed climatic aberrations are coming from either natural variation or an increase in greenhouse gases. That family, once part of Hitler’s inner circle, escaped from Germany in 1945 with a fortune in gold. Piecing together the puzzle, Kipling uncovers a connection between the Nazi reawakening and the events in Greenland.
Together with her boss, NRL’s premiere scientist Dr. Victor Mark Silverstein, Kipling leads the charge to thwart the diabolical Nazi plot. In the end, she finds herself in a fight to the death—one that will determine the future of the planet.

Dr. Linda Kipling has had her share of excitement working as a meteorologist with the Naval Research Laboratory. Twice in four years, she and her boss, the arrogant Dr. Victor Silverstein, have faced international crises requiring heroic action. The Müller family was once part of Hitler’s inner circle. They escaped from Germany in 1945 with a fortune in gold, and now they hope to alter the world’s climate for their own purposes. Kipling must head to Greenland under the guise of familial reunion in order to dismantle the Müller plan and save the planet from a climatic apocalypse.

Prior to his retirement, Paul Mark Tag worked for the Naval Research Laboratory as a meteorologist.
