About the Author

Helen Heppner was raised on a farm at Skaro, Alberta where she spent a great deal of time with pets and in nature walks, becoming familiar with wild animals as well. She graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a degree in English. She has two adult children, Delight and Michael and now lives with her husband Erdman in Altona Manitoba. This is her second book in a series of stories about animals and children.
