About the Book
Willie smiled that big farm boy smile and waved; Max smiled and waved back and the years that had separated them melted away. The two farm boys were going on another fishing trip together. Instead of worms for bait they were going to use memories to catch something more elusive than a trout or bass. They were fishing for an old friendship which had been swimming around just under the surface of their consciousness for over forty years.
About the Author
Mark has taken the experiences and memories of growing up in rural Minnesota in the fifties and sixties; combined them with his experiences of forty plus years; a sixteen month tour in Vietnam, marriage and raising a family, starting up a trucking company and driving two million miles coast to coast; and combined them into a story of two childhood friends and what caused them to drift apart and what brought them together again to resume their friendship in their retirement years.
