About the Book

With very different motives, Boss and Man make a pact to do away with Mary Craddock, but unfortunately the men hired to abduct and kill Mary inadvertently also capture Mary’s daughter, Brenda, and her friend Jackie.

Meanwhile, Jackie’s mother, Phyllis McDaniels, agonizes over the disappearance of her daughter. Fearing that horrible things may be happening to her and that she will never see her again. Phyllis tries unsuccessfully to remain optimistic and therefore seeks comfort from Kevin Martin, who is a brother to Mary and an uncle to Brenda. An inexplicable romance develops between the two.

As the mystery of the disappearance unfolds, unexpected twists and surprising revelations are disclosed.
