About the Author

Maria Pisciotta-DellaPorte is the author of The Sum of Something Meaningful, a collection of poems awarded Editor’s Choice. Magical Heart is her first children’s book. Currently she is busy working on a children’s series, a novel and screenplay, as well as a third collection of poetry. She studied writing at Molloy College and the New School in New York.
