The Edge of Brotherhood

This action filled adventure begins as it chronicles the lives of four boys as they emerge from childhood to men. The boys from four different continents are enrolled in an exclusive boarding school in Connecticut. Their meeting and assignment as roommates appears to be at random. From the beginning the reader realizes that there is something special about each of these boys. They have a number of similar characteristics but it is perhaps their subtle differences that ultimately bring about their unique bond. The reader is initially a spectator but soon after the boys’ experiences commence becomes attached to the key characters awaiting their next adventure and wondering where it is going to lead them. Just when the reader thinks they have figured what will happen, there is a sudden twist and turn in the plot that keeps them guessing. After they graduate from boarding school these young men are accepted to an ivy-league university where they remain together through college. The reader experiences a snap shot of their life away at college, but it is not until one of the men loses his father to an untimely death that the boys are confronted with a major life stressor. The men rally around their friend and demonstrate a special bond that perseveres throughout the rest of the book. Readers are amazed at their strength of character at such a formidable age and wait to see what is yet to happen. One early morning, during their senior year of college, there is a knock at their dorm room door. An unexpected turn of events occurs that will have a major impact on their lives. Four men in black trench coats enter their room. A special, elite international, military force compels the four young men to join. The reader is still uncertain if this is the true nature of the abduction. They travel to a remote, desolate compound. It creates a roller coaster of intrigue and suspense that leaves even the most espionage aficionados on the edge of their seats. Once the missions throughout the world commence, there are still uncertainties that challenge the reader’s acumen. Beneath this veil of mystique, the missions are filled with romantic interludes, deception, violence and action filled suspense. This espionage thriller evolves into a race against time. Through a series of events the reader is beginning to place various pieces of the complex puzzle together. Surprises contained within the plot make it difficult to put the novel down. Toward the concluding chapters there is speculation and doubt. As the tension and suspense climb an unexpected ending ensues.
