About the Book
Jack Elkhart (and the whole world) is shocked when aliens suddenly arrive at Earth, saying that they’d like to establish their home there after fleeing their doomed planet. As Jack searches for answers amongst his family, friends, and faith, his life is further upended with the arrival of an alien emissary named Ursula. While tensions build between the aliens and humans, Jack seeks to reconcile these new realities with his faith. Confronted with a myriad of questions and the enigmatic Ursula, Jack is forced to consider what a person must do when faced with insurmountable uncertainty as the world hurtles closer to war.
About the Author
Kavan Rogness began his interest in writing during a fourth grade writing class and is excited to publish his debut novel. He has a bachelor's degree in communication studies and history from Gustavus Adolphus College, a master's degree in communication studies from Kansas State University, and a Master of Divinity degree from Bethel Seminary. He has spent most of his life in the Twin Cities, Minnesota area. He enjoys traveling, running, writing, and long conversations.
