About the Book

We are in what the Bible calls the “end times.” Many Christians become distressed and worried about what is going to happen. Let me assure you that God has it all under control and that God has made a way for you to stand—not in an attitude of anxiousness but in total peace, confidence, and victory. I have pointed this out to you so that you may fulfill what God has called you to do. “We are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do” (Ephesians 2:10). Trust me, God is now preparing you to be able to do the things he has prepared for you to do.

About the Author

Michael was born and raised in northern Ohio. After completing one year of study at Colorado State University, Michael returned to Ohio, where he married his wife Renee in 1977. They have two children, Joel, born in 1990, and Emily, born in 1994. In 1982, Michael and Renee moved to Florida where they became active for the Lord and in 1984 responded to the Lord’s call into full-time ministry. In 1987, Michael and Renee attended The School of the Local Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma during the 1987-1988 academic year. In 1992 Michael was hired at New Hope Ministries in Naples, Florida, as the Minister of Education and the Director of the New Hope School of Ministries (a nine-month adult education school). In January of 2000, Michael changed positions to oversee the Pastoral Care area of the church. In 1998, Michael started ABIDE Ministries, specializing in Christian educational materials. In addition to his responsibilities as an Associate Pastor, he is an author, and brings forth an inspiring and motivating message through his seminars on Christian Stewardship, Biblical Leadership, Biblical Marriage, and Biblical Parenting. Michael and Renee’s main focus is to restore and build Godly marriages and families. It is Michael’s desire that by the working of the Holy Spirit, believers, become dedicated to fulfilling Christ’s commission to win souls, educate believers, and make disciples, equipped for ministry; to bring edification to the Body of Christ and glorification to our heavenly Father through Jesus Christ our Lord.
