About the Book
Every family, irrespective of its composition, will have to deal with children issues at one point or another. Years of research and careful analysis of this phenomenon indicate no family is immune to children challenges. In The Fighting Children, author Ben Iloh addresses the issue of siblings and the controversies that often occur between them. Using the Bible as a guide, Iloh discusses the categories of children and shares information about child siblings, adult siblings, the Book of Genesis and children’s challenges, the causes and effects of sibling squabbles, siblings of single parents, stand-alone siblings, and competition among siblings. He also presents a variety of methods to resolve and overcome difficulties among siblings. The Fighting Siblings offers families, parents, and adult siblings—as well as educators and others who interact with children—an informative overview of sibling interactions and problems and a helpful guide to addressing them.
