Life Is A Blessing / Many people complain about how hard it is to cope; yet others just hold onto faith and hope. I don't understand how and why, at times, folk get depressed; 'cause I just thank God for each day that I live and I know I'm blessed. There's so much beauty in being alive; so just hang on in there, persevere and thrive. All of us can truly make it with the help and use of God's Armor & Spirit. God, He can supply your every need; your hungry soul, He will feed. About the Author
Michelle Denise Smith (M.D. Smith) is a native of West Lynn, Massachusetts. She is the daughter of Ola M.(Lumpkin) Smith & the late Everett A. Smith, Jr. and “big sis” to her brother, Tyrone E. Smith. M.D. Smith is an entrepreneur, teacher, mentor, author, activist, motivational speaker, and retired professional basketball player. She graduated from Lynn Classical High School (1982) and Brown University (1986). M.D. Smith’s professional certifications include the Mass Mentoring Partnership and the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship. For leisure, she enjoys spending quality time with family & friends, attending arts & cultural events, basketball, biking, creative writing, movies (especially classics), reading, tennis, traveling, and walking. In addition to this joint publication of her first (2) creative writing collections, M.D. Smith has completed (5) other creative writing collections. She has also, surprisingly, penned (50) gospel songs.
