The Immortal Soul

AU submitted 01.10.19 Taken from last chapter last paragraph. My NDE has taught me that The Holy Spirit is everything and that there is no such thing as nothing. He is neither a jealous God nor does He punish…He teaches. Knowing that we are immortal children, part of the Creator Himself, gives us courage and purpose. As a result, one develops a deep and unusual understanding that life has meaning, not only despite its many difficult lessons, but also because of them. ……………………. Taken from 1st chapter, 2nd and 3rd paragraph Cold sweat washes my tormented body. I never knew such pain existed. Persistently, with all my will, I try to escape my body and abandon this all-consuming pain—but I cannot move. I appear to be paralyzed. Over and over I ask myself, “Am I now fainting, passing out, or am I dying?” I would temporarily pass out, and on regaining some consciousness, find that I am not having a nightmare. I am going through hell on earth. Without warning, there is a sudden lull, a quiet and calm, absolute stillness. Time has stopped. Abruptly and pleasantly, I have been released from all pain. I am suspended in time. There is peace, beauty, and loud silence that I myself have become. Then, I start to float, slowly traveling down a flexible white tunnel with muted shades of blues and grays. I am overjoyed to be here and so very peaceful. I am euphoric. I have never felt a greater joy. … Taken from the Preface last paragraph My NDE has given me a very close relationship with my God.
