Dr. Trey Martinez, M.D. is elated when an elite hospital recruits him to head the South Texas division of Rio Grande Hospital's Obstetrics and Gynecology department, and relocate his practice to the southern tip of Texas. When two worlds collide in the Southern tip of Texas, he learns very quickly just how cruel, evil and far the arms of the cartel can reach to take revenge on anyone they feel has wronged them and how they take great pleasure in evening the score.
