About the Author
Jan Plummer comes from a family of great cooks which encouraged her to pursue a career in the food area. Jan obtained a Master’s Degree in Home Economics Education from Ball State University in Indiana, USA. She taught Home Economics, for 33 years. While teaching, Jan had a catering business for 12 years. She gave that up when the business grew to the point that she had to decide whether to do it full time or remain in teaching. She was not ready to give up teaching so the business had to go. She enjoys experimenting with foods and creating her own recipes and often uses family and friends as “guinea pigs” to try her new creations.
