About the Author

Mister G, also known by his real name Garba Onadja, is considered to be the top personal trainer and fitness instructor in Calabasas. He describes himself as a private Personal Power Coach, but he is a man of many facets—an entrepreneur, and most especially a father. Before arriving in Los Angeles, California in 1992, Mister G was a dedicated athlete and all around sportsman in his native West Africa. During his competitive years, he became part of a three-time champion in the National Basketball in high school. He was also admitted to the National Taekwondo Team of Niger earning a second-degree Black Belt accredited by the Kukiwon or World Taekwondo Headquarters in Seoul, South Korea. Onadja eventually became a fitness trainer and athletic coach, starting in West Africa, moving to France, and settling in Los Angeles finally, where he is granted a U.S. citizenship and became the premier fitness instructor known popularly as Mister G, a moniker that encompasses his training prowess. In, 1999 L.A. Daily News subscribers voted Mister G as the “Most Motivational Instructor”, adding proof to his excellence. He was given his 10th dan Black Belt and was inducted to the Martial Arts Hall of Fame of USA in 2004. Mister G, with all his proficiency to back him, also holds a Business degree from the Kaplan University and a Doctorate in Oriental Philosophy and Martial Arts Science. While living in France, Mr. Onadja was inspired by French Ballerinas and La Savate (French style of kickboxing) practitioners and envisioned an exercise system that would be truly the essence of mind and body conditioning in its purest, most direct form. Ten years later, gTonnicks was born – a regimen incorporating the strengths and mental discipline taught by these diverse fitness forms. As Mister G often says: “gTonnicks is more than just a workout, it’s an expression of strength, elegance and power.”
