About the Book
The poems in this volume chronicle my personal growth both as a poetess as well as an Iranian-American woman experiencing the dynamics of becoming middle-aged. The poems are raw and intensely honest. The first and second volumes of Seasons are also present in volume three in descending order. The narrative of my work is one of love and hope, and a celebration of the emotional connection and unity in the life experiences which shape us as adults. In every poem, you will find the common thread of love realized, as the title of this volume implies. In every poem, you may find a fragment of yourself in an intricate detail or some nostalgia in the emotion it evokes.
