About the Author

Mary Lee Berger has had a very exciting life, moving fifty times and attending nineteen different schools. Her degree was in interior design and then added real estate broker. Living in the Washington, DC, area, she was able to work with celebrities and politicians. One of the most adventurous times of her life was selling their house and moving to and living on their boat for over five years. She has been married to her husband, David, for over fifty years. They are parents of Identical twin boys. She has had many pets in her life- from dogs, cats, rabbits, ducks, pigs, and chickens- but nothing prepared her for the extraordinary insight and unexplainable powers of Casper, her therapy dog.
