About the Author
Glenn Curry was born in Key West, Florida, and lived there until he left for college at the age of 18. Since then he has pursued several endeavours: scholar, teacher, journalist, editor. Before retiring in hopes of learning to be a writer, he was the owner of Bananas, an iconic beach bar and grill in Vieques, Puerto Rico. He holds a Ph.D in Latin American history from Vanderbilt University. Although he has lived in Nashville, Tennessee, Colombia, and Puerto Rico, and has had extended stays in Italy and Japan, he has maintained his connection to Key West through the years. Glenn Curry is also the author of Flamboyan Street.
