About the Book
Women who break the law, are homeless, or mentally ill do not have a bright future at Life Enhanced Enterprise where they are imprisoned and forced to carry the seeds of men they do not know. Clients choose the mothers of their children from a catalogue, and the women have no control. All the control lies in the hands of Mr. Masters, the sick, wealthy, and very powerful CEO of Life Enhanced Enterprise. Fearful and distressed, the women must endure unethical medical procedures while carrying the babies of strangers to term, only to have them ripped away after birth and sent to the genetic engineering department where the baby’s traits are altered and enhanced to please its new high-paying client family. The more accurate the baby’s traits, the more money the client pays. Sadly, there is no hope at Life Enhanced Enterprise and seemingly no way out—at least until the women are no longer useful. Their one and only chance to flee is during harvest season, and that is only once every five years. Will they ever manage to escape, and if they do, what will be the repercussions? In this suspenseful tale, a group of imprisoned women with no control over their bodies or their futures attempt to take control and escape from an unthinkable situation.
