About the Author

This story is written through the eyes of Stevie’s mother, Theresa Zielinski, born in Chicago, one of seven children, graduated from Loyola University with a BS in Nursing and commissioned as an officer in the US Navy Nurse Corps. She married Steve, her childhood sweetheart, and has five children. As a civilian, she worked in many facets of nursing. Her goal in life now is to share Stevie’s message of his life and love with the world and let everyone know that sorrow can turn into joy! Theresa M Zielinski
