The Mainland is in tatters. The royal legion has sailed into a misguided war against Stormguard and is not likely to return. The Blue Runa has seized control of Ulmoc, infecting the land itself and hunting humans to the brink of extinction. And it is all because of one young man. In the year since he was tricked into assassinating the royal family, Alarik has been missing and rumors of his death permeate the last pockets of humanity. Luckily, there are those who suspect a difference between rumor and reality. His friends, hidden and scattered throughout the ravaged land, will stop at nothing to preserve humanity and restore the world that Alarik unwittingly destroyed.

About the Author

Ryan Kinsch is a fantasy novelist, hailing from Bucks County Pennsylvania. He is the author of Twisted Threads: Book One in the Omni Series and is currently working on a collection of short works of fiction. Ryan has also spent the last twenty years working in the mental health, education, and justice systems, serving people of all backgrounds across the United States. When Ryan isn’t writing or working, he spends his time sculpting, reading, video-gaming, board-gaming, playing Magic: The Gathering, playing Dungeons & Dragons, Lego building, painting miniatures, and projection mapping.
