It serves as a crucial component of the spirit care process, enabling individuals in need to delve into their inner world with the guidance of trained professionals and the Love of God. Spirit Care is rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ, as expressed in Matthew 18:20—”For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them”—Spirit Care embodies the essence of companionship and support. Spirit Care is a journey of discipleship that follows the path of Jesus, allowing His transformative power to flow through caregivers as they serve others. It presents real experiences of pain, suffering, and trial while also offering joy and fulfillment, and the affirmation of human worth and dignity.
