About the Book

This journal book is Just For Dads! Its about Dads of all ages. Typically, what is handed down form our fathers is both a natural and material inheritance. It is a legacy of genes, behaviors, mannerisms, money, and property. Unless there is some special effort put forth, a lot about Dad is lost upon his death. The purpose of this journal book is for fathers to record their story. It is meant to be a living life gift to their sons and daughters. In this way, fathers can leave a complete legacy, both tangible and intangible, to their children.

The journal speaks to the life and times of a father. It talks about the mother of the father's children. It chats about his pastime and notable accomplishments. It culminates with Dad's acknowledgements, beliefs and advice for his children. The journal is styled in a question and answer format. This will help you write down the memories, thoughts, and ideas you wish to share with your children. Please remember, much of what makes up who your children are comes from you, so your story is also their story.

About the Author

Richard Possett is an experienced entrepreneur and seasoned executive from the international financial and insurance services industries. Richard was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He lived and worked for five years in Los Angeles, California, before moving to Oklahoma. His family has resided in the Tulsa metropolitan area for the last eighteen years.

Richard graduated from Western Michigan University with a BBA degree earning a major in accountancy. He is a CPA, small business owner, accredited mortgage loan originator, financialist, and past SEC-registered securities representative and licensed insurance agent. Richard is a former international rugby player. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He has been married to his wife, Marilyn, for more than 41 wonderful years. Richard and Marilyn have three adult children, Nicole, Richard, and Michael; two young grandchildren, Braden an Rebehah; and a great son-in-law, Daryl. Richard?s hobbies are writing, reading, and walking with his wife and their two golden retrievers.
