About the Book
In this sequel to Book One, Les graduates from the “Name Withheld” convent school and proceeds to tilt the uptight college scene of the 1950s on its ear. She doesn’t have much luck impressing the frat boys, but does lots better with a left handed relief pitcher, a nurse named Shirley and her cheerleader roommate Alice. Les relives a bittersweet high school romance during Thanksgiving break but returns to find big trouble at the sorority house. Les and Alice must confront substantial odds and overcome ingrained prejudice in the persons of Alice’s boyfriend, their repressed sorority sisters and the entire varsity football squad over a marathon weekend party. Les and Alice seek their revenge by teaming up with some most unusual characters for the final showdown. Now if she could just understand that troubling dream.
