STARLOG Kirk is dead. It really pissed off Spock and McCoy. Spock said it wasn't logical for him to just go die like that in the middle of a series. McCoy said he was a doctor, not a coroner, dammit. Uhura said: Who are you kidding? He'll come back to life just like Spock did and there'll be a big to-do to welcome him back to reality. Everyone brought flowers to the bridge in black uniforms, and even the Klingons knew something was up. Nobody expected the Enterprise to split right down the middle. That's what happened, though. Everyone's lungs got sucked out of their mouths. It looked hot. I guess you had to be there.
