About the Author
While studying dressage in Europe, Dr. Patricia “Patti” Dammier, (PhD in psychology), had several opportunities to learn the skill of driving carriages. When she returned to the US, she began to teach one of her dressage horses to drive a small cart. Because of this experience, she has promoted several stories about driving carts/carriages. In this fiction story, Summer Fun and Driving Carriages and her nonfiction book, Positive Horses, she includes information about driving carts/carriages with horses. As a psychologist, she understands the therapeutic effect of animals on well-being. This book includes fun stories about horse-driven carriages, disabled riders not able to ride, young children convalescing, and of course…horse lovers!
