About the Book

Charles Standing Horse, a young Lakota man, explores various natural and artificial systems, sometimes with companions, though he believes all his experiences are uniquely his own. During the safaris, Charles and his friends and enemies encounter systems that range from easily accessible to rigidly exclusive; and from well-protected to open-ended dangers. Controlling the fabric and energy used to build and sustain the evolution of life and machinery creates crimes and desires for revenge.

About the Author

Matthew Theisen used to consider himself a spiritual escape-artist. He also left physically or mentally (or both) when he felt played-out or to try something new. He is grateful that Americans gave him a place to land.
