About the Author

Gerald Middents served as a US Air Force Captain, became an Ordained Minister and earned a Ph.D. He served at Austin College and is now a Professor Emeritus of Psychology. He was invited to Mahatma Gandhi University’s Union Christian College. Then he filled the Endowed UNESCO Peace Chair at Manipal University in India. He has Lectured at Universities, five medical schools and six seminaries. Twice he was awarded Rotary University Teaching Grants plus “Service Above Self.” His poetry books include Personal Meaning DeMystified, Heating the Earth: GLOBAL WARMING, EARTHLINGS and SPACELINGS, UPWARD CHANGE, PSYCHE HISTORIES: PRESIDENCIES-FIRST LADIES; SPORTS and RELIGIONS TOGETHER; Bridging Fear and Peace, Crisis in Violence and Health. Creativity is his special interest in global policy for peace and justice.
