About the Author

Mr. Whitmer is a retired Special Agent of the F.B.I. and former Criminal Defense Attorney. He is presently an Investigator for the Civilian Office of Police Accountability in Chicago, Illinois. He has taught various courses at the F.B.I. Academy and at the Chicago Police Academy. His stories are based upon his vast experience in the investigation of criminal matters, his various undercover roles, and his interaction with suspects, witnesses, clients and law enforcement personnel he has encountered along the way.
