About the Book
In this exciting sequel to Coon Creek, Elias Bunt and his family are once again uprooted from their home - this time by the ravages of the Great Depression. The Bunts leave California after Elias decides to take his wife and family back to Dallas City, the small town in Illinois where they were born. But his youngest son is restless.
