The Archer House Mystery

About the Book

Two young vacationers to the Chisholm Ranch in Colorado witness a strange series of events within the Archer House, an old, clandestine distillery built on the ranch during the Prohibition days. With the help of a Chiricahua Apache warrior and a Kiowa squaw they solve the mystery.

About the Author

Richard Braden has spent the second half of his adult life in eastern Colorado, and he has heard all the great stories about the people of the eastern plains -- their sugarbeets, their cattle and hogs, the grains and hops grown to support the beer industry, their pools of crayfish left over from a million years ago, their dinosaur bones, their porecelain-grade pottery clay, and their open invitation to 'come see us when you can.' It's a great place to live and to invite your grandchildren for a visit in the summers when the days are long, the evenings are cool, and nature recreates itself on a daily basis.
